What to expect when entering the Port Stanley Arena
Arena Protocols - Here are the main things you need to know about what to expect when coming in to the Port Stanley Arena.
A.Participants must “Come Prepared” by dressing in their required equipment (except skates and helmets) prior to entering the facility. *It is recommended however, due to the time limits, that skaters come with skates on (wearing proper blade guards).
B. The use of masks is mandatory for all patrons. Skaters may take off their mask once on the ice. It is recommended that skaters have a ziplock baggie with their name on it to store their mask while on the ice. When getting off the ice the mask goes back on.
C. Port Stanley Arena patrons will be required to use the main East Entrance to enter the building. A table will be set up just after the sliding door, where you will hand in your pre-screen paper for both the Municipality AND for Skate Ontario (Forms are attached below and will be available on our Facebook page and our Website in PDF form: please be sure to print enough off for EVERY time you enter the arena: 1/skater for Skate Ontario form & 1 for every 2 skaters in the same family for Municipality form).
You will also be given a temperature check and a parent/guardian will need to write their phone number, along with skaters’ name on our session master list. Please ensure to arrive on-site with sufficient time to complete the screening process before entry.
D.Entry doors will be unlocked ten (10) minutes prior to your session time and will be locked immediately after group enters. Late entries will NOT be permitted so please ensure you arrive on time. If an individual exits the building, they will be unable to re-enter the building until their next scheduled session.
